It’s a case of Goodbye Matt! Hello Paula! At Christians Against Poverty head office this week. It was announced that Matt Barlow would be stepping down as CEO – UK and International and Paula Stringer is taking on the role of CEO UK.
Matt has been part of the CAP story for the last 20 years, thirteen of which as CEO. He will be leaving the charity next year to step into full-time church leadership, something that he feels God has been calling him into. Paula joined CAP as Executive Director last year, after moving from her senior role as Head of Production at BBC Sport. She has a wealth of experience, a passion for the vision of CAP and was unanimously voted by CAP’s trustee’s as the right person to take the reins as UK CEO.
We are sad to see Matt move on, thankful for the way he has served CAP and wish him all the best for the future. We are also excited for what lies ahead with Paula at the helm.
