In the last 12 months, over 100 Reading residents have been turned away from our Debt Centre because we don’t have the capacity to see that number of people. These vulnerable people seeking help have been signposted to other agencies and sources of support but it is a stark illustration that the need in our town is great. That is why we are thrilled to be able to share news of our newest member of the team – Kevin Lowen, our newly trained debt coach, increasing our capacity by 25%. Kevin joins us from a business background, so he’ll be bringing his high level of professionalism along with a huge heart for those struggling in our community. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team and delighted to be able to help more people.
